The 2019 Shell V-Power Senior Championships will be held on different Saturdays throughout the year, and will be divided into two categories: drivers under 75kg, and drivers over 75kg.
As a new feature this year, the Championship will be divided into two trophies. The champion of the Spring Trophy will be the driver who gets the highest score in the first 4 races of the year.
The champion of the Autumn Trophy will be the driver with the highest score in the last 4 races of the year.
The overall winner will be the driver who gets the highest score throughout the 8 championship events.
The calendar is the following:
- Spring Trophy:
1st Race: Madrid, Saturday, February 2
2nd Race: Las Rozas, Saturday, March 2
3rd Race: Reverse Madrid, Saturday, March 30
4th Race: Las Rozas resistance, Saturday, April 27
- Autumn Trophy:
5th Race: Madrid two tracks, Saturday, June 15
6th Race: Las Rozas Reverse, Saturday, September 7
7th Race: Madrid resistance, Saturday, October 5
8th Race: Las Rozas Grand Final, Saturday, November 23
Minimum 15 years of age.
It will not be a mandatory requirement to use certified clothing, therefore drivers will be able to use the karting's clothing or their one. But it will be mandatory for all drivers the use of racing suit, helmet and neck protector.

You must write an email with the following information:
Name and surname
Age
Weight with the equipment (suit and helmet), in order to determine the drivers category. The day of the race this weight will be verified. In case the driver does not meet the indicated weight, he or she will be changed of category.
The price of each race will be 42€ for karting members and 60€ for non-members.
In case of paying half season or full season, this amounts will not be refunded (should the driver not attend any of the races, or be excluded from any of the races).
It will be the same for both categories, Saturdays stipulated in the calendar, with arrival at 8:30 and ending at 12:00, except exceptional delays.
The maximum number of drivers per round will be 15. Groups will be divided according to the number of total participants in each race. Competition will have the following format:
Races:
- Warm-up: Warm-up round of 12 minutes per group, without scoring.
- Qualifying: the qualifying session will last another 12 minutes, each driver with his previously assigned kart.
- Final: 25-lap race from the starting grid (rolling start). Raceorder (physical position in race) will determine the classification, being the winner the first driver to complete the 25 laps. Only the best 15 drivers of the qualy will have access to the final. In case of having more than 15 participants there will be a final without scoring for the non-qualified.
Resistances:
Qualifying: 15-minute qualifying session, each driver with his previously assigned kart. There is no warm-up round.
Final: 45-lap race from the starting grid. The raceorder (physical position in race) will determine the classification, being the winner the first to complete the 45 laps. Only the best 15 drivers of the qualy will have access to the final. In case of having more than 15 participants there will be a final without scoring for the non-qualified.
Grand finale:
Last race of the championship and the most decisive, since it has double score as it is two races in one. There will be two qualifiers and two finals, one in each direction of the track.
Qualifying: 10-minute qualifying session, each driver with his previously assigned kart. There is no warm-up round.
Final: 15-lap race from the starting grid. The raceorder (physical position in race) will determine the classification, being the winner the first to complete the 15 laps. Only the best 15 drivers of the qualy will have access to the final. In case of having more than 15 participants there will be a final without scoring for the non-qualified.
Inverse Qualifying: 10-minute qualifying session, each driver with his previously assigned kart. There is no warm-up round.
Inverse Final: 15-lap race with rolling start. The raceorder (physical position in race) will determine the classification, being the winner the first to complete the 15 laps. The scoring system will be as follows:
-First position: 20 points
-Second position: 16 points
-Third position: 14 points
-Fourth position: 10 points
-First position: 8 points and from 6th to 12th in descending order to 1 point. 2 extra points per fast lap. 2 extra points for pole position.
In the endurance tests the score will be ruled as follows:
-First position: 30 points
-Second position: 24 points
-Third position: 21 points
-Fourth position: 15 points
-Fifth position: 12 points
-Sixth position: 10 points
-Seventh position: 9 points
-Eight position: 8 points
-Ninth position: 6 points
-Tenth position: 5 points
-Eleventh position: 3 points
-Twelfth position: 2 points
-Pole: 3 points
-Fast Lap: 3 points
• Go-karts are assigned by draw.
• All our karts are tested before the races and checked by the karting's qualified personnel, you can only change your kart in case of breakage, NEVER FOR ANY OTHER REASON, and only once our mechanic checks the kart to confirm the failure.
• In the event of a change, the driver will be assigned a spare kart, being assigned no longer by draw but by the race direction.
• The seatbelt is mandatory for the race, as well as the neck protection.
• Complaints must be made up to 5 minutes after the incident and it will be up to race direction to determine its punishability.
• The track rules (briefing) are mandatory for all drivers. Therefore, all participants are required to attend the security briefing. In case of not doing so they will not be authorized to participate in the race.
* In case of not complying with these instructions the driver will be excluded from the race.
- Any physical or verbal aggression against a track marshall or race director, will be sanctioned with the immediate exclusion of the driver from the race. The same will apply to any unsportsmanlike conduct towards the rest of the drivers.
- The track marshalls will be responsible for organizing and controlling the race. They will be positioned throughout the circuit and will solve any conflict in it. It is strictly prohibited to access the track during the race without their previous authorization. Any decision that could lead to possible penalties will be analyzed previously by the race directors.
- Any unsportsmanlike action, such as crashes or manoeuvres that the marshalls deem inappropriate, will be penalized.
- The penalties for such actions will be: - Minor infraction: 5 seconds of slow down by remote control, carried out by the race marshalls. - Serious penalty: 15 seconds of slow down by remote control, carried out by the race marshalls. - Very serious penalty: suspension from the race.
Minor infractions will be considered not respecting the flags indicated previously in the briefing, as well as the rest of the rules explained in it. Serious penalty will be considered all those that lead to the loss of position by a driver due to the unsportsmanlike action of another driver.
All these penalties will be controlled by the track marshalls through the use of a race control system.
The 2019 Shell V-Power Junior Championships will be held on different Sundays throughout the year, and will be divided into two categories: drivers under 11 years old (7 years and older) and drivers under 14 years old.
